Der Chambertin Grand Cru von Camille Giroud gehört nie zu den Blockbustern, er ist vielmehr ein ungemein feiner und aristokratischer Vertreter dieser weltberühmten Lage. Ein Chambertin benötigt ohnehin mindestens 10 Jahre Flaschenreife, das sollte man beim Kauf dieses Weines unbedingt mit einkalkulieren.

There is strikingly good volume to the big-bodied and imposingly-scaled flavors that also display ample minerality on the beautifully detailed and powerful finish that presently displays a touch of youthful austerity. This will absolutely require at least a decade of cellaring so don’t buy this unless you plan to cellar it accordingly."
